Core Values Activity

It can be very difficult to build self-worth if you do not actually know who you are! My favorite activity to find myself is a core values activity. You pick about 5 words that describe what you value the most. Click here if you have trouble brainstorming values. Once those values are chosen, write a paragraph explaining yourself as if you were introducing your values to someone else. Keep it short and sweet! I like to keep mine in my Google Docs history so I can revisit the statement. This activity can be a very powerful tool if you struggle to remember your personal why.

MOOD with Lauren Elizabeth

Another podcast I recommend for self-esteem and self-worth is MOOD with Lauren Elizabeth. She does not create new episodes anymore, however, all of her content is relevant to this day. She focuses on how to deal with anxiety, young adulthood obstacles, and brings on guests to share their lifestyle knowledge. If you need someone to relate to, especially when it comes to anxiety, Click this link to listen to MOOD with Lauren Elizabeth.

Gratitude Journal

I have seen a large difference in my optimism since using a gratitude journal. There is an abundance of science supporting that what you tell yourself has a high impact on how you perceive your life. I do this activity at night time, and I will either use my favorite journal linked here, or I will share with a family member three good things that happened to me that day.

Goals of The Month Poster

Something I do every so often is craft a Goals of The Month poster. I put attainable goals onto a blank piece of paper, decorate it, and hang it up on my bedroom wall. Here is a template of my Goals of The Month Blank Sheet if you do not want to create one yourself!
